Born and raised in Ocean Grove, Pete’s love of building started early — making furniture alongside his grandad from around the age of five.

He began working in carpentry in his early twenties and has since built his experience alongside a number of highly regarded builders across the Surf Coast, Melbourne and abroad, developing a strong appreciation for quality craftsmanship, thoughtful design and doing things properly.

In 2018, Pete started his own carpentry business, initially specialising in high-end architectural builds. Since then, he has continued to lead and work on architecturally designed homes and renovations throughout the region.

While Pete loves the detail and craftsmanship that comes with architectural building, Bluewater Construction isn’t just about the big builds. From renovations and extensions to decks, outdoor spaces, smaller projects and everything in between, Pete genuinely enjoys taking on a wide variety of work.

For him, it’s less about the size of the job and more about doing good work, working with good people, and creating something that’s built to last.
